Hawaii 2011

This was our first trip to Hawaii for all of us! We were invited by our friends Samantha and Andy Zilmer. They have a little boy named Zach who turned 3 while we were there. He is super adorable and Taylor and him go to Kindercare together. Destination Maui!!! This was also Taylor's first airplane trip. She did fantastic on the plane both ways! We checked in at Seatac around 8am and waited for our plane to arrive!

We rented a car but got a mini van instead. Let me tell you how much I didn't like it. Don't get me wrong they are fine for others, just not me. :) We rented a condo with our friends and my friend Diana joined us as well. Here we are in front of the condo!

We were on the 4th floor and had a georgous view of the water, islands Lana'i & Moloka'i and our beach/pool.

Daddy, Mommy, and Taylor went to to the Plantation for breakfast. It had a beautiful view and reminded me a bit of NewCastle golf course but of course better. The food was also great. I took yummy pictures, but don't have them yet.

The next day we all went to see the blowhole. It was so cool! The walk down was a little rough and we had to go very slow, but it was worth it!

We went to the banyan tree the next day and met up with Andy's cousin, Captain Craig. He took us out for a sunset cruise. It was so much fun, Andy even caught a fish.

Going to the luau was amazing! We went to the Westin and had so much fun!!!!

Taylor and Zach got along just great. They were playing together all the time and mostly in the pool! I think they lived in the pool and beach. Taylor even tried snorkling! it lasted for all of about 2 seconds. :) At least she tried!

The last day we went to the Aquarium and it was expensive, but the kids loved it. Actually that about sumed up the trip, it was expensive but the kids (Daddy, Mommy, and Taylor) LOVED IT!

We could have stayed for 1-2 weeks longer, 8 days just wasn't long enough. Taylor loved the bus, the plane, the swimming, fishing, and hanging around friends and family! We were sad to go, but happy to be home!
